Why we built this experience.
There is no horsepower number for a bullock cart. There is just the rhythm of two animals walking, a wooden axle, and you.
Our hosts still use the cart for harvest, weddings, and the occasional emergency. When you ride, you are not riding a tourist prop — you are riding the village's oldest working vehicle.
We keep the route slow on purpose. Twenty minutes feels like an hour, in the best way. Children look around, adults look up, and someone always says: I'd forgotten this is what quiet sounds like.
